The CastleType version of Goudy Text is based on drawings from which Frederic W. Goudy based his Goudy Text typeface and maintains the greater warmth (and irregularities) of the original drawings. Goudy Lombardy looks especially nice when used as initial capitals with Goudy Text. See also Cloister Black.
